Whose land is it?

Expanding the town bounderies out means more state land Rio can develope. So why is it so expensive for non elite Rio people to buy a block?

why can comalco employees who have purchased their homes/units now be able to purchase land in the golf links estate, when other comalco employees haven't been able to purchase what they are living in for reasons such as strata title etc! And what about the bloody rest of us talk about us and them syndrome.

How can a company make crown land that is mining lease into freehold?

If I could get a mining lease somewhere else on the cape and freehold it I'd sign up right now.

yes i agree employees that have already perchased a rio home should give the rest of us a chance, many employees are living in accommodation not for sale and not really what they wanted but under the old "take it or find your own" policy they have no choice and very little opportunity to buy a home. and who knows how honest the ballot is!

Who remembers the Good Old Bauxite Bashings & the Perfume Palace. Well it seems there is one fair princess in the Perfume Palace who bought a home & her prince charming bought one too. But all was supposedly not well in their little love shack & she had to flee (apparently) back to a rio rental. Now they kissed & made up & the fair princess moved back with prince charming... But forgot (apparently) to hand back her crisis accommadation & is now collecting rent on that. That old rule book for some!!!
